Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The actual living area was very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, air-conditioning quite effective, had access to wifi and YouTube, good lighting, most of the things needed for inside living was provided.

Negative: oven being in an inconvenient location (cupboard doors blocking), showers were passable, some mildew/mold in grout but not a huge issue. The biggest issues I had with the accommodation is the fact that the extra amenities that were being advertised and likely influenced a higher rate such as swimming pool, braai area and jacuzzi were overrated and a bit of click bait. Firstly check in was at 14h00 and check out was at 10am. Braai and pool area only open from 9am. We had an event that we had gone to an planned to have a braai for supper but it was closed by the time we got there and with the check out time being 9-10, area only opening at 9, that did not give us enough time to enjoy the braai and pool area. The pool was not blue as advertised, it was green. And the worst thing was that the jacuzzi/ hot tub was not working at the time of our visit which was not communicated before confirmation of booking and was a very big selling point to me that that was very disappointing. Also big red flag was that the owner responded to queries about the accommodation but ghosted us when we had a complaint.
