3 Bedroom House in Wichita Falls

We welcome you to stay at The Rambling Pearl. Owners, Ryan and Kathryn, renovated and opened a store in downtown Wichita Falls and have now started on a second adventure. The Rambling Pearl house is a way we can host and accommodate those visiting Wichita Falls. The house has been renovated and sits in a very convenient location, just minutes from MSU, Downtown and a short drive to Sheppard Air Force Base.
Each bedroom has new beds and memory foam mattresses. The bathroom has been renovated with new marble floor tiles. The kitchen was completely updated.
The backyard is fenced, but not completely. We are a pet friendly home. We welcome well behaved, house trained dogs. But, please keep them on a leash while they are outside.

Summary: Overall the home was cute and you can tell they've tried to do some updates, etc. I'd say just be realistic about your expectations. For the price, it was a good place to stay, but it is an older home and with that comes older home issues. The main issues we had during our stay were the shower head spraying water out the side (appeared to be missing an o-ring), oven now working and some concerns about a few floor boards. The owner was very responsive and apologetic. I would say they could use someone coming in and doing a once over deep clean but I'm just possibly more particular than most. Overall it was clean and comfortable. I will say that if you have older people along (we were with my in-laws), the front steps are a bit precarious and there was not a railing for them to hold onto when going up and down the steps. Neighborhood seemed fine, not great, but we never felt worried when we were coming or going. I probably wouldn't walk around there at night, but overall it was good. A little highway noise for those light sleepers, but we didn't have any issues.
