Summary: My wife and I looked forward to coming Winston Salem and stay at the Shaffner Inn. We arrived at the Inn at 745 pm and the reception was cold and chilly and we were looking for more of a warmer “welcome we are glad your here” just the opposite. After we found our room we discovered our bathroom was down the hall. Not expecting that. The bed was lumpy and the pillows were not as comfortable as we like. In fact they were pretty flat. The bathroom had a toilet that was running constantly and I actually fixed it to be able to use it. The website advertises full breakfast. Was not even close. There were no eggs, no potatoes of any kind. Coffee was good though. Just a inadequate breakfast for us My wife and I most likely will never stay there again. Was not a good experience. A one and done!
