This 3 bed, 2 bath home in Atglen is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a convenient location. With a quiet beautiful surrounding. The property is lined by an Amish meadow, so we often have cows right up against the property line and can see them work in the fields , if you are looking for a more Amish experience! Perfect for a small to medium family visiting Lancaster. You will also have a great view of many beautiful sunsets!

And then next door to that, see a mini horse farm and little Amish country store/gift shop.

Grab lunch afterwards at Katie`s kitchen, an Amish owned restaurant. It`s close by!

Go to the Houston cafe for a coffee or breakfast or lunch. (2 min away)

Go to the outlets for a fun day of shopping.

Go hiking at wolf`s hollow state park. 10 min away

Go to the famous little town of intercourse ten min away and visit cafes. eat fabulous soft pretzels, shop Amish wares and have a horse and buggy ride at AAA
Buggy rides!

Go to sight and sound Bible theatre, (reserve tickets ahead of time)

Go to shady maple smorgasbord- largest buffet in the U.S. with some Amish dishes as well!

Visit Hersheys farm market (5 minutes down the road), it has lots of delicious fresh meats and seafood to make over the fire as well as a small variety of local produce, snacks, dairy, fresh baked goods.

The small town of Gap is a few min away and has The Houston cafe, pizza shops, Chinese restaurant, Weis market for groceries and gas stations, dollar general and a laundromat.

The town of parkesburg is also a few minutes away, and has a Walmart, a few fast food options as well as family dinner options! Ice cream shops and much more!

We, your hosts are from the Amish heritage and are happy to help you plan your adventures as you enjoy all that Lancaster has to offer!

1. There is a NO pet policy. Any violation of this could result in removal of the property and a fine of $300 or up to $700 if any damage occurs.
2. No smoking inside the house: If there are any signs of smoking the renter agrees to pay $200 per day.
3. Do not try to use fire place, it does not work and is nonfunctional. Trying to use will result in a $500 dollar fine or more!
