The open kitchen is bright and friendly and has electric stove with oven and refrigerator with freezer. The entire house has underfloor and central heating, plus a wood-burning stove for chilly evenings in this great vacation apartment. The ascent to the second floor is only possible via a small, steep staircase. Here you will find a gallery room and another bedroom with 2 mattresses on the floor. (Tall people cannot stand upright on this floor). A garage space is reserved for you in the basement of the house. Access to the house is only possible via a small mountain road. Axalp can be reached by post bus or car in 35 minutes from Brienz.

At the Ballenberg Heimatwerk course center ? located on the outskirts of Hofstetten in the valley ? handicraft as well as arts and crafts courses are offered.
