Positive: This was a special experience, since the Lodge is on the water and you can only go there by a small boat. Around the lodges is nothing but water and other islands. The lodge is huge, you can sleep there easily with 6 people, the view is awesome. The lodge has a heating system, water supply and you have all the time staff around (Uros - native people) which basically lives next door. If you want a tour or you need a boat trip to the shore, they take you whenever you want. The dinner is not included, you can choose between chicken / fish (20 soles). The dinner was good and enough to get full. The breakfast was really simple. Definitely a great experience, but one night is enough.

Negative: The communication / organisation how to enter the lodge was difficult. Afterwards I understood why, since the family who takes care of the lodge is busy with driving the boats or taking care of the lodges. There is no Wifi and the internet connection is poor. If you want to buy a beer or water on the island, its really expensive for peruvian standards. Therefore you should bring drinks / snacks or ask the staff to drive you to a kiosk (there are kiosks on the islands). The private boat tour was cheap, however you can tell that the traditional Uros Islands became really touristic and its basically a sales show. The shower was cold, but I guess thats normal in that environment.

Summary: Great experience away from urban life - One night is sufficent
