Positive: Tollgates is such a lovely house and offers us as a group of 3 families the perfect place to stay for a long weekend. The bedrooms are all good sizes with nice, comfortable beds. The living rooms and kitchen are also all good sizes with comfortable furniture and plenty of kitchen equipment for cooking and eating for everyone staying there. The house is set in lovely countryside, plenty of parking on the drive and is just a short walk into Rye.

Negative: A bit of a challenge with the heating system to get the heating levels right in some of the rooms, but it is an old house- so it is going to have its quirks.
