Set back from the road, accessed via an unmade old estate track, Hummingbird Standard suite offers peace and tranquillity, sea views with year round sunsets to the front, woodland views with private 2 person Hot Tub to the side, surrounded by song birds, real R & R location. 6 mins walk to the local buses to Hillsborough, where you can get the bus to the award winning Paradise beach, there you can take a boat trip to idyllic Sandy Island before dining on the beach. A 12 min walk to the nearest beach.

Summary: Situated in the hills about 20 minutes away from airport, Tyrell bay dock (ferry from Grenada) and Paradise beach. Quiet location, nicely maintained garden, overlooking the tropical vegetation around the house. Nice view from the balconies over to hills to the sea. We had the standard appartment. One room with kitchen, table and sofa and TV (better not to watch TV but to be on the terrace and enjoying the view and listening to the birds !!) Two bedrooms with baths. No AC, but ceiling fans. Kitchen is equipped with essential things. Washing machine is in the basement. Taken all together a location amidst beautiful nature and great view. Very pleasant stay, good communication with the owners who live right next to the house. A sturdy car is absulutely essential. While the description by the owners how to get there is precise, one needs to be aware, that the last 500 meters are on a very uneven, rough, narrow and curvy path, which might you belive to have missed the right way.Therefor I would recommend to arrive during dailight hours. At certain times car rental on Carriacou may be difficult ( i.e. carneval time ). Would recommend without any hesitation.
