Summary: Bed was clean and comfortable. Room had all we needed, we stayed in one of the family rooms (two teenagers). Breakfast had what you would expect, but was only offered fried eggs on second morning of our stay, and I was not offered filtered coffee but was sent to the coffee machine instead. So a bit inconsistent on this front. Pastries were very fresh and delicious, the entire family loved them. We chose not to dine at the restaurant, the menu was very limited in choice so kids voted to dine out. Lack of lift is a bit suboptimal but the concierge did offer to help, it’s a listed building, part of the charm. Spa is OK, clean though everything a bit on the small size. Spa access downloading app and registering TBH is a bit of a faff and even though instructions state you should book a slot the receptionist stated this is not necessary.
