Positive: The location was perfect. The house was very well equipped and, as mentioned in the guest book, was like a home-from-home. The welcome pack was - welcome!The living area was a really good size, well decorated and furnished and a comfortable place to be. We ended up using the first floor terrace a lot in preference to getting overly sandy on the beach - it’s basically on the beach already but with all home facilities at hand. We (including our dog) enjoyed watching the world go by: people, dogs, boats, birds, clouds and so on. We’ll return to Turnstone again in the future and experience a different season of the year for the absorbing views.

Negative: We were made aware beforehand of the small garage but were able to find (free) parking by the surgery for our large SUV. So it wasn’t so much a dislike and as we know the area we were able to work around it. If you are a light sleeper then traffic might wake you in the early morning as the bedrooms are on the ground floor.

Summary: Better than we had envisaged.
