Positive: The staff were great, super friendly and always very helpful. They even made themselves available very late at night one evening. The resort was quiet with a good nights sleep. The photos of the resort are a true likeness of it and the rooms. The villa type rooms are modern, clean, decorated a little on the simple side, but are well built and do a good job - I think they're recently built. Breakfast is served at your room to be eaten on the veranda in front or inside your room. There's plenty of parking for your scooter and the reception building has a fridge with drinks. The resort is located on a small cliffs edge with a great view of the shoreline. The location isn't too far from the main San Juan high street where many of the bars and restaurateurs are located. Big shout out to the staff, they were fantastic!
Negative: For breakfast there was a choice of drinks - coffee and juice - but you can only have one. Most resorts let you have both a coffee and a juice if you want. I'm unsure if the price I paid was value for money, but accommodation in Siquijor can be a little expensive and Turtle's Cavern Oceanfront Resort was cheaper than most reasonable resorts on the island.
Summary: The villa type rooms are modern, clean, simple and well built.
