The renovated, open-concept chef's kitchen offers everything you need to prepare your favorite recipes with the aid of stainless steel appliances (including a convenient wine fridge) and plenty of countertop prep space. Dine indoors in the adjacent dining room or meet up around the picnic table out back for a fun alfresco experience. A gas grill is also provided for summertime barbecues. Back inside, choose from two inviting living areas to stream your favorite channels, socialize, or just kick back with one of the provided books and a mug of tea on lazy afternoons.

Summary: The property was well appointed for our family group of 3 couples. Great casual seating arrangements, nice dining table and a kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils, flatware and crockery. We loved eating in with the opportunity for good conversation in gentle lighting seated at a long dining table. We didn't have an opportunity to do more than sit around the fire pit, but that too would have been a great location for conversation. Bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. One minor issue was the lack of dark curtains - we were wakening up at 5.30am with the sunlight streaming in - but that made for getting getting out the door fast in the morning. The proximity to Bath and radiating roads made this a good location to visit parks and beaches in the area (I would recommend the Costal Botanic Gardens for any avid gardener). For birders, there is an osprey nest just 200 yards away in the dog park on top of the light piling - pretty amazing especially when we saw a parent bird return with a fish to feed the chicks. All told a memorable holiday.
