Positive: Ivan was an absolute pleasure to be around, he was great at getting to know all the customers which made the stay very personal, he couldn't do enough for us and is an absolute credit to the business. We really wish him the best. The hotel is about 15 mins walk to the ferry and set back a few streets from the busier 'strip' at the front bay so we had no noise issues except the call to prayer which could be heard all over the island anyway. We highly recommend this place
Negative: Everything was okay with the room, could do with some renovation, but the bed was big and comfortable. What I would recommend the hotel does is have mosquito mesh over the bathroom ventilation window as there's a huge gap there that lets in mosquitos and we got bitten a few times, simple mesh will prevent this, apart from that this is a great hotel for the budget traveller.
Summary: Best service we've had in Asia entirely, would recommend
