Positive: Beautiful house, lovely and spacious. Location walking distance to penguins. Fireplace upstairs was wonderful on cold rainy days.
Negative: Unfortunately we experienced issues with the hot water geyser not working from the Thursday. Host was responsive but initially said it will only be fixed on Monday (freezing winter) and offered showering facilities at a different guest house. Had to ask for geyser to be repaired, which was done on Saturday. Thankful that we didn't have to wait until Monday, but two days without hot water wasn't comfortable. Electricity was about to run out and had to ask for more, since the check-in information stated it's the guests responsibility to buy electricity if the daily average is exceeded. There was no tumble dryer to dry towels or wet clothes as per property description. It was rainy outside and freezing cold, so used towels stayed damp. It was quite cold and an additional blanket for the beds would have been a nice touch to stay warm.
Summary: Beautiful house, lovely and spacious. Unfortunately we experienced issues with hot water.
