Positive: Villa and grounds were beautiful. Fantastic views. Small but very nice pool. Perfect spot for relaxation. Host was very accommodating and took our luggage to/from port and villa for us. He also brought us local pastries. Ischia itself is a beautiful island with many lovely villages, beaches and good restaurants.
Negative: One bathroom had a shower over the bath but there was no shower screen or curtain so the floor was flooded every time the shower was used. Some kitchen basics eg oil, vinegar, salt and pepper etc, would have been welcome. A small hire car is essential for this location as access is by a very steep narrow road that even a young fit person would find challenging to walk up.
Summary: Beautiful villa with extensive multi-level outdoor terraces but small hire car essential.
