Located in one of Cornwall’s ancient towns, Camelford, Wisteria Cottage occupies a central location close to all the towns amenities but with ample parking and garden too. This fabulous, Grade II listed property oozes character and a wealth of original features further add to its charm. Camelford is a lovely town situated on the Atlantic Highway and on the edge of the mysterious and somewhat magical Bodmin Moor. Camelford itself has a variety of shops and places to eat including award winning fish and chip shop, curry house and popular pub. In addition, there is a post office, butchers, pasty shop, chemist and convenience store. To the north of Camelford you will find the seaside town of Bude (17 miles) with its wonderful beaches and to the south must visit places such as Wadebridge and Newquay which are 11 and 26 miles from Camelford respectively. Closer to home and within just a few minutes’ drive are Boscastle, Tintagel and of course Port Isaac. The famous beaches at Polzeath and dog friendly Daymer Bay are just half hours drive away. Entered from the car parking to the rear, is a boot room (two steps down from the back door). Off the boot room is a handy WC with basin and heated towel rail. Next is the large and very sociable kitchen/diner. A lovely space in which to prepare family meals centred around a large family dining table. Kitchen appliances include washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, electric oven, induction hob, large fridge/freezer and microwave. A door from the kitchen (up on deep step) leads out into the partially enclosed garden. Leading off the kitchen is a charming snug/reading room with gorgeous feature fireplace with open fire and comfy sofas. A small entrance lobby with main front door leading out to the garden has carpeted stairs up to the four bedrooms and family bathroom WC The main living room is next with wood burner, television and more comfy seating. Lovely window seats to both the living room and snug overlook the pretty garden. Heading up the (reasonably steep with handrail) stairs you will find a large double bedroom with king size bed off to the left (up one step). To the right (up two steps) is a landing with a triple bedroom with single bed and bunks. A further three steps lead up to the next landing where you will find a double bedroom and bunk (with small double bed underneath and single on top). Bedrooms are all carpeted and have ample hanging and drawer space between them. All bedrooms overlook the garden to the side. The family bathroom WC comprises of a free standing, deep feature bath, large shower cubicle and wash basin. This property is heated via oil central heating radiators. Outside there is a lawn garden with shrubs and gate out onto the pavement in front of Wisteria. A raised area with Cornish slate accommodates a large picnic bench and charcoal barbecue. Parking at the back of Wisteria Cottage for up to 3 medium size vehicles.
