Summary: We couldn't have crafted a more perfect place for our one-week stay in the Rockies. It was the perfect elevation for acclimating from the Down Below as well as accessing the peaks. We did three big climbs alternating every other day with nature hikes out our backdoor. Very importantly, the bed was comfortable (what a way to ruin a holiday otherwise, eh?), and our rat terrier felt quite at home. Jeff was a most agreeable host, who often checked in to offer guidance and ask if we needed anything in our unit. Once he gets better photos up, you will realize the splendor of this simple yet beautiful location, including organic gardens, sweat lodge and meditation kiva. Don't miss out on the 6-course prix fixe and rustic pub and beer garden at The Gold Hill Inn, just one block away!
