Positive: We loved the beds, we loved the view from the deck, we loved how peaceful it was. It felt so family oriented with the kid’s paintings and decor. We loved how close to the beach and the docks we were. We loved the rocking chairs, couches and kitchen table. Loved that you had an ice machine. And checkout was very easy! The silverware was very cute! It was nice and cool the whole time as well. It was a great place for our family vacation. Loved it. Loved the binder of resources on the table! And all the extra blankets sheets and pillow cases! And pillows.
Negative: We didn’t like that the oven door wouldn’t open all the way, the teflon on a majority of the pans was peeling, and the grill was dirty from whoever stayed last and we had looked forward to using it. But didn’t want to clean out the last resident’s grill. Also the toaster oven was missing a knob. And the majority of the board games’ pieces were scattered all over the floors when we arrived. When I called to clarify about checkout, whoever I spoke to was impatient and critical of my questions. The instructions told us to “return our key to the office” but we didn’t have a key and the man kept saying “it should be in your packet, it should be in your packet.” But he eventually told us that we were supposed to be locking the door and telling them we were checking out. Which, by the way, wasn’t in the packet or the binder at the house.
Summary: Very nice place for a low-budget family vacation for people who are only quasi-bougie!
