The Space:

One bedroom has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has a double bed/single bunk combo, there is a sofa bed in the lounge that can also sleep two, a spare single mattress, also a porta cot available if needed.
BYO LINEN:
Bedding is provided but guests must bring their own linen and towels.
The lounge has a TV, DVD player and stereo and can be screened off from the main living area.
The tidy modern bathroom has a shower over full size bath tub and separate toilet. In the laundry you will find a washing machine and laundry trough.
The entire house can be kept lovely and warm with the wood heater (must bring own wood),electric heaters and pedestal fans are also available.
The compact kitchen is well appointed with an oven with electric cooktop, microwave and medium fridge.
A large covered deck is ideal for entertaining, with a gas BBQ and outdoor setting provided. The garden is fenced in this dog friendly property, where your well behaved dog is welcome, but must stay outside. Sorry, no cats are permittted at this property.
The property is not securely fenced due to native wildlife moving through the property.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a strict NO PARTY policy. The house is located in a residential area and noise and public disturbances will not be tolerated. Guests will be asked to leave the premises without notice should noise or nuisance complaints be received or if the number of guests exceeds the number confirmed at time of booking.

The Neighborhood:
Picturesque Sandy Point beach is a pleasant 3-minute walk away at Ned Neales with the patrolled beach 10 minutesโ walk from the house near the local milk bar. The Shallow Inlet, famous for wind surfing and fishing is a short 5-minute drive. Other Sandy Point recreation facilities suitable for children and families include the mini golf on the foreshore, the Surf Lifesaving Club, Children's Playgrounds, Tennis courts and a half basketball court.
Numerous recreation and relaxation facilities are within reach such as golf courses, bush walks, fine restaurants and of course the South Gippsland's popular wineries and art galleries. Accessible to both Wilson's Promontory and South Gippsland the location makes it an easy drive to the popular Squeaky Beach, Waratah Bay, Inverloch and Port Franklin.
Getting Around:
Enjoy the convenience of shopping facilities in Foster, just 20 minutes away, with the luxury of being able to return to the peace and tranquillity of Sandy Point. The Sandy Point milk bar provides convenience within walking distance of the house and supplies a selection of food, fishing goods, household items, magazines and a bottle shop.

Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.
