The Beeches is a fabulous, interesting house, immaculately presented, spacious and airy with a large garden and lovely patio area to enjoy the majestic views of the Skiddaw fells and beyond. The rear bedroom boasts views towards Skiddaw, whilst the front and single bedrooms have views towards Grisedale. From Portinscale is a leisurely 20-minute walk across a country footpath into the bustling market town of Keswick or walk a little further into the village and catch the launch over Derwentwater and land at Theatre by the Lake. Lots of walks and activities on the doorstep just leave the car on the drive and off you go, sailing, mountain biking, fishing or for the less energetic relax in the garden or play some of the many board games at your disposal. For those with bikes, storage is available in the garage. Portinscale has a country pub, hotel and lots of lovely tea rooms along with a marina offering a range of water sports. The Beeches is an ideal base with which to enjoy Keswick, Heart of the English Lakes District.
