20 minutes from Gstaad, the 400 years old wooden mother house of a tiny village on 1000m, cow bells, WIFI, library, modern kitchen and modern bath, enough space for a large family with kids, be it for skiing or hiking in the Bernese Alps.
Shopping in the village downhill, 2', restaurants as well, Public Transport 20' walk to Train Station, 5' by bike, 10' to Zweisimmen, 60' to Berne.

Gstaad Mountain Rides is one of the safest and largest areas for skiing and snowboarding in Switzerland. The Bernese Oberland's only glacier ski area is suitable for winter sports from mid-October to early May.
Gstaad is the region's main attraction, combining style, tradition and Swiss "Gemütlichkeit" in a delightful way. The traffic-free centre of the village is a harmonious mix of restaurants, shops, hotels and bars. The ski and winter walking areas surrounding the village are accessed by three mountain railways.
Train station "Boltigen" 2 km from the house, Bus station 1 km from the hous in "Reidenbach".
There's a Taxi service called "Samuel Taxi" that will bring you to and fro the house in 3 minutes, cost is CHF 15.
It's 10 minutes to the Gstaad Mountain Ride ski resort, 20 minutes to Gstaad, 40 minutes to Interlaken.
Important: Parking space, two lots, just in front of the mechanic shop called "Matti Garage", 50 meters from the house. That's also where the container for the garbage is, just next to a little hut.
You may off-load and on-load your car just in front of the chalet and then park your cars in the mentioned Parking lot.

Parking: off-loading in front of the house, then park opposite car mechanic shop "Matti Garage", next to the fire house shack.
Food: everything available (Fondue, Milk, bread, even croissants at 6am) in local shop 1km down hill, left hand side.
Wood ovens: wood is available in the second cave (right hand side door), use fire starters (also available in local shop), dump the ashes into the iron tub in the stable or in the garden (it's a good fertilizer), adults only!
Garbage: separate Alu, PET and glass, the rest upon departure in grey "Avag" bags only into the container next to fire house shack where car park is. More grey garbage bags "Avag" available in local shop down the street.
Noise: respect the neighbors next door.
Do the dishes, clean the floor please.
Used bed linen and towels: take them off, wash as many as you can in the washing machine, the rest into the bath tub.
