Welcome to the Domaine Berrua campsite ****, close to the center of the small traditional village of Bidart on the Atlantic coast, offering a privileged location at the foot of the Pyrenees (South Aquitaine, Atlantic Pyrenees, France).
More precisely, 1 km from the beaches, 4 km from Biarritz, 8 km from Saint-Jean-de-Luz, 30 km from Hendaye on the Spanish border. An exceptional location for a successful vacation with family or friends!
You'll find a host of leisure facilities and amenities, including a heated indoor swimming pool, ping-pong table, boules pitch and multi-sports field. You'll find everything you need to combine idleness, water sports and discovering the rich cultural identity of this south-western region.
For a successful family vacation, we offer activities and entertainment for all ages in July and August. For example, you can enroll your children in the Kids' Club, where they can take part in a wide range of activities with other children of their own age. Our qualified activity leaders will entertain your children with a wide range of activities, including painting, singing, coloring, clay, treasure hunts and water games.
For your comfort, the campsite offers services such as a restaurant called La Table du Berrua. It welcomes you in a friendly, local atmosphere, where you can sample Basque specialities (axoa, piperade etc.) while enjoying the Bidart campsite theme evenings. And that's not all: the La Txalupa snack bar by the pool, with its lovely terrace, offers pizzas, burgers, fries, crêpes and waffles all day long, to eat in or take away. Why not sip an aperitif with some tapas?
During the day in high season, La Txalupa offers a warm welcome on its terrace overlooking the swimming pool, a place to meet and relax.
You'll also have access to a free WIFI zone. Just 50 m from Domaine Berrua, a shuttle bus will take you to the beaches or the village center in July and August.
From the campsite in the Basque Country, holidaymakers with a taste for tourism can also head inland to visit the towns of Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle and Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. Visit the Rocher de la Vierge, take the Rhune train or head for Hendaye via the corniche. Admire the panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean from the coastal path, then continue on to the Spanish border, just a short drive away.
