Summary: Wonderful place to stay! Myself, my husband and my 3 boys were here. We were very comfortable and able to accommodate with no issues. Super close to the beach, very quiet and friendly neighborhood and not a far drive from local restaurants, markets/gas and of course intown to Galveston. The markets can be a little pricey so I'd suggest grabbing groceries prior to getting into the area where it's a little more affordable. Also, the only thing about the home I wasn't aware of is needing your own drinking water. The fridge didn't work on the water option so I'm assuming it wasnt hooked up for water and/or ice. But super easy fix as we had gotten plenty of bottled water to put in the fridge. If you want to swim in the neighborhood pool, contact the office and they'll provide a key fob for you to get in. You have to pick up and drop off at some point prior to your leave. Easy process as well and the office isn't too far. Lots of amenities, including an outside shower and awesome sitting to dry off or just relax. We would absolutely love to stay again.
