Summary: Cottage was exactly as we'd hoped - secluded (careful on the dirt road in; potholes abound), quiet, and just steps from the beach. House had all the amenities we could possibly have asked for, and the property manager proved professional and helpful. Beach is gorgeous, with clear shallow water and craggy coves for exploring with kids. Location is perfect; central to (20 min. drive) plenty of restaurants, a well-stocked market, and lots of stuff to do. Communication with owners was fast and easy.Everyone we met was friendly and delightful, safety never felt like an issue at all. Only deducted a star from "location and neighborhood" because on windy days the beach seems to accumulate a lot of trash brought in by the trade winds. Unfortunate and somewhat of a downer, but certainly no fault of the owners, or the Bahamas for that matter. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.
