A large detached Georgian property ideally located in the picturesque village of Lydbrook on the banks of the River Wye in the Forest of Dean. Set in a stunning location with fantastic views from the upper floors, with lovely character features throughout making this great for a family get-together or celebration with friends. Enter the property up the stone steps into a lovely central hall with Minton floor tiles. Immediately off the hall are two gorgeous sitting rooms both boasting sumptuous sofas and warming woodburning stoves ideal for those chilly evenings. To the rear of the property is a large stunning dining kitchen, providing everything the chef of the party could wish for and making a perfect place to enjoy a celebratory meal or lazy Sunday lunch. There are eight bedrooms to choose from, all beautifully presented, with four having zip/link facility, giving plenty of flexibility. Three stunning bathrooms ensure guests can enjoy a soak in the bath without others having to queue. The property has the added bonus of a lower ground floor storage area - perfect for mountain bikes, kayaks and fishing gear - this room can be accessed from both inside and outside the house.
