Nice beach area (great for kids!). TV w/ DVD player & Cable. South facing view. Wood stove in living area. Full sized bathtub w/ shower. Flat property with a fire pit close to the water. 2 hours from the city. 5 minute drive from Bala. 20 minute drive from Gravenhurst. Weekly rental Saturday to Saturday. Summary: This is the second time weโ€™ve stayed at the Black Lake Cottage in as many years. We love the area and all itโ€™s happenings, and have become very fond of Black Lake itself. The cottage is great, and shows even better in person. Emily is a solid communicator, and accommodating when required. We would love to return again for a three-peat. My only criticism is there are very few places to put your clothes. Itโ€™s a bit of a bother living out of your suitcase for the whole week. I recommend placing hooks in all rooms, where reasonable. This is a pretty minor issue, however. Overall: amazing week, great cottage, great owner. Highly recommend.
