Surrounded by attractive scenery, the property is situated on the outskirts of the pretty village of Saint Avit Senieur. The beautiful bastide towns of Monpazier, Beaumont and Belves are all a short drive away.
The cottages were formally a farm house and have been totally renovated and updated by the owners. They have been designed for use as two totally independent units or for rent as one. Each has a private pool, terrace and BBQ facilities. The interior is enhanced by fully equipped kitchens, attractive and comfortable lounge/dining areas, comfortable bedrooms and new bathrooms.
The cottages are surround by meadows and woodland and have a shaded picnic area for use by guests.

Summary: Fabulous week in the Dordogne based at this property - very rural and quiet but lots of lovely towns and Chateauโ€™s and other things to see and do in the region so you will need a hire car to get around. The Gรฎte is superbly welcoming and comfortable - has everything you need for your stay. Craig and Caroline are fantastic hosts too, full of great advice beforehand when planning your stay and also on hand if needed while there. If I could 6 stars here I would!
