This beautiful country house is on the shores of a river in the midst of a forested and still original valley in the south of the Vosges.
There is a terrace with garden furniture next to the house. A wooden picnic table, a barbecue, a parasol and a deckchair are also provided. The site of around 1500m² is partially enclosed. There is a play area for children. Please note that children and pets should be supervised, because of the river. There is parking space on site below the holiday house.
The house was renovated in 2014 and provides 160m² of space for up to nine people. The ground floor has a big kitchen in a country style with a dining table. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, fridge with freezer compartment, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, toaster and kettle. Enjoy dining in front of the open fireplace. In the adjoining room there is the living room with a flatscreen TV. Note that this can only be used for watching DVDs and does not receive TV channels. Next to the living room there is a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. There is also a guest WC. The upper floor has bedrooms and the bathrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. The second bedroom has two single beds and a sofa bed for two people. One bathroom has a bath and the other has a walk-in shower. There is a separate toilet. There is also a third room with a desk and a cot. A 20m² mezzanine level has a third bedroom with a double bed. All the double beds are 140cm wide and the single beds are 90cm wide.
There are shops, a supermarket and restaurants within a radius of 7 to 10km. The nearest bakery is 7km away. We would especially like to draw attention to the regional products, such as icecream from a farm, various cheeses, foie gras and so on. The surroundings are ideal for hiking and fishing. You should also visit the thermal spa resorts in the area such as Plombières-les-Bains, Bains-les-Bains, Luxeuil-les-Bains and other places.
Firewood for the open fireplace is included in the rental price. All rooms can be heated either with wood or with electric radiators. Note that the owner lives on site.
