Positive: Las Golondrinas was, without any exaggeration, one of the best places we have ever stayed. The house was absolutely spotless – in fact, the cleanest accommodation we have experienced on any of our travels. It is obvious that the owner takes incredible care of the house and maintains it with great attention and love. The property is surrounded by a beautiful, well-kept garden and offers stunning views of the ocean as well as the new volcano that emerged only a few years ago. The views are truly unique. The house itself is very spacious, with a large living and dining area, two bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need, including a washing machine and dishwasher. A big advantage is the private parking directly at the house, with space for several cars. What truly makes this place special, however, is the wonderful owner. Upon our arrival, she welcomed us with a generous selection of local bananas, beautifully ripe mangoes, pomegranates, excellent wine, homemade goat cheese, and even a perfectly baked orange cake. Such a warm and thoughtful welcome is something we have never experienced anywhere else. Las Golondrinas is a place you immediately feel at home in – peaceful, beautiful, perfectly equipped, and with an incredibly warm atmosphere. If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on La Palma, this is without a doubt the perfect choice.
