Olonzac, the capital of Minervois, is a very pretty village located on the edge of the Aude department, between the Canal du Midi and the village of Minerve, about 30 km from Narbonne and Carcassonne with its medieval centre. The region offers delicious wines and nice places with narrow streets and cosy terraces. Hire a boat for a trip on the Canal du Midi or have a picnic at Lake Jouarrรจs, 7 km away. The residence is just half an hour from the Mediterranean beaches and an hour from the Spanish border.
In the bright living room, the fireplace, which seems to float in space, points to the steel staircase. The back wall is glass and opens to the terrace and the beautiful swimming pool with counter-current. A unique location and an exceptional house: in short, highly recommended!
