Positive: The location is spectacular, with wonderful views of the valley. Olivier and Didier are great hosts, always ready to chat about the history of Domain Regain (their property) and ready to help when needed. We appreciated the access to the pool. The house is very well appointed and decorated. We cooked most nights as there are few restaurants in the immediate vicinity and the kitchen has all the equipment you need. We also really liked all the animals on the property, they are all quite friendly and you can pet them. There are lavender fields all around the property, which is exactly why we came to the Luberon region!
Negative: Often bugs get in to the kitchen, you'll find that slugs and other things will get to your fruit if left out. On the final morning the power went out in the kitchen so we couldn't make breakfast before leaving, I'm sure the hosts would solve this immediately as they are just next door and a text message away. We would have appreciated coffee/tea already in the house as there is a coffee machine and kettle.
Summary: Wonderful stay in the heart of the Luberon Valley. Lavender abound!
