Positive: The overall ambience of the place was super nice - tasteful decorations, our room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was delicious. The owner was very nice and he gave us recommendations for pubs and walks, he was very keen to help. The location was also great with short walk away from the Ambleside town centre.

Negative: Our room was v cold. I appreciate it must be hard to heat such a huge building, but the radiators in our room were turned on only for a period of time throughout the day and it wasn't enough.
