Positive: Teo and Lin are very friendly hosts, the meals Lin cooked were tasty, filling and a good value. The bungalow was clean and the small attached bathroom was adequate. There is a hot water shower in the kitchen building. It’s easy to miss the homestay entrance- just a walkway break in the guardrail. A plug by the bed would be nice.

Negative: Mosquitoes were outside in the afternoon and evening, but none in the hut (Teo burns repellent coils). You need a vehicle to do anything offsite. Overall a very peaceful location, but the only other building in the vicinity is next door and it’s a beer house with karaoke - Loud. Teo warned me before they started around 18:30 and said by Vietnamese law they must stop by 21:30; they didn’t. The road is only 50 ft from the bungalows, so vehicle traffic is clearly heard (not continuously but through the night). The dogs and neighbor dogs barked on and off.

Summary: A nice place with home cooked meals at a good price.
