This striking villa, situated within the development and consisting of 2 floors, is colourfully decorated mixing designer furniture with Asian artifacts and fabrics. This uniquely designed villa, offering 4 bedrooms within the main house, has a unique and private self-contained apartment downstairs with 2 extra bedrooms and its own access from the street and to the swimming pool.
Outside the main villa there is a wide pool deck, as well as an 8x4 m infinity edged pool with integral Jacuzzi and seating. The roomy sala and easy-to-use gas BBQ are perfect for al fresco dining. Sunbeds and parasols add to the laid back atmosphere.
Accommodation is comprised of 6 bedrooms: 4 in the main villa, and 2 in a separate self-contained apartment downstairs. It therefore comfortably houses 12 people with 2 extra beds.
The master bedroom suite has a king-size four-poster bed, built-in wardrobes and a large en-suite bathroom with double basins, a spacious walk-in shower and oval bath. Sliding double doors take you directly onto a spacious sun deck.
Bedroom 2 (the green room) has a queen-size bed, cable TV and DVD player. Perfect for entertaining the kids after dinner, while you finish that bottle of wine and enjoy the cooler evening air. It shares a detached and generous family bathroom with bedroom 4 (the blue room) that has twin single beds and a small desk. Both these bedrooms also have direct access to the sun deck and swimming pool.
Bedroom 4 (the yellow room) contains a queen-size bed, and benefits from its own en-suite shower room.
This floor houses a very spacious living/dining room containing a large Lloyd-Wright inspired dining table for 10. The living area has a low level L shaped sofa, flat screen LCD TV, home theatre and cable. You will find a wide selection of DVD's, CD's and board games for all the family. An open plan fully-fitted Western-style kitchen rounds out the accommodation on this floor.
Downstairs is a self-contained 1 bedroom apartment, with self-service laundry room. The apartment has both private street access and stairs up to the pool deck and main house. Its bedroom (bedroom 5) has a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, while the living room has a pool table, cable TV and DVD player. There is a further twin bedroom, sleeping 2 more guests. Additionally, in the downstairs games room there are 2 sofas (each the same size as a single bed) that can be comfortably transformed into two single beds.

Summary: Moonstone Villa was perfect for our family reunion. Us with kids stayed in the downstairs apartment so that the kids wouldn't disturb the rest of the family in the middle of the night, or early in the morning. The pool was the perfect size, and got lots of shade in the early afternoon. During our stay the games room was not available, due to water damage on the ceiling, so that was a bummer. Having a washer and dryer was convenient, but beware, it is outdoors. At night, the indoor lighting is on the dim side, especially in the dining and living rooms, and downstairs bathrooms. Communication with Tracey was superb, she always responded within 12-24 hours. Khun Chaa, the housekeeper, is a great chef, and she can produce a great dinner buffet by herself! Khun View, the transportation and activities manager, is also very helpful and easily accessible to arrange quick rides. Pick up from the airport was smooth, and it was helpful to be able to grocery shop for beverages and snacks prior to arriving at the villa (if you plan to have Khun Chaa cook, just give her money for the raw ingredients; much easier than buying ingredients yourself ahead of time). We booked an evening sunset cruise on a private yacht, and the family was delighted with the experience. We booked an in-villa massage, which was nice and convenient. The villa was located in a quiet neighborhood, but depending on other guests at other villas that don't belong to the same owner, it was sometimes loud and obnoxious to hear others' loud party music (especially at 2am!). The sala by the stairs to go down to the apartment is a great place to view sunrise over the trees and rooftops. Overall, wonderful place to stay with a great staff to assist.
