Our Villa Montebello, completely renovated in the spring of 2018 and equipped to a very high standard, lies on a gentle hill above the village of Benidoleig in the villa settlement Aldea de las Cuevas, which owes its name to the "Cueva de las Calaveres" cave at the foot of the mountain, an imposing cave a rock water source that supplies the region with clean drinking water.
We have placed great emphasis on quality and style in the equipment. The entire equipment is new: spacious country kitchen, high-quality new bathrooms, each with a large vanity, toilet and walk-in shower, both bedrooms with 180 cm x 200 cm double bed (furniture, mattresses and bedding and towels all new). On the various terraces you will also find new high-quality garden furniture, lounge seating, large dining table for 6 people, 4 deluxe sun loungers, veranda dining table. The large, spacious property (1,600 square meters) offers many beautiful spots for sunbathing and relaxing and to enjoy the view of the sea and the surrounding mountains. The sunrises and sunsets delight us and our guests again and again.
The Villa Montebello is located in a very quiet and nature-integrated residential area in a fantastic panoramic position. Here you will find absolute tranquility and the close proximity to nature (although all conceivable shopping opportunities can be reached in about 10 minutes) .... Hiking is possible from the front door .... The region is characterized by the year-round mild climate. Oranges, lemons, grapefruits, almonds and olives are grown in the so-called Campo, the plain of the Orba valley surrounded by numerous mountain villages.
Miles of undeveloped sandy beaches and steep cliffs with beautiful bays can be reached in a few minutes. Our absolute favorite beach is in Oliva Nova, a well-kept golf and equestrian resort.
Here you will find a wonderful wide long fine sandy beach. It is worth visiting the Pepe beach bar all year round, where you can enjoy a coffee, a wine or a cold beer as well as excellent snacks and seafood right by the sea. In the main season (July & August) there are some trendy beach bars for every taste, which also offer sun loungers, Red Cross stations, toilets, massage tents and much more ... Outside the high season, the beach is always little visited, so you can have wonderful quiet days on Can enjoy the sea. Even in the high season everyone can find their place for a towel and umbrella, in a beautiful, well-kept but natural atmosphere.
Our settlement has 2 community pools that are freely available to our guests. Pool 1 is a bit smaller, less frequented and has a children's and adult pool. Sun beds are available. Our guests receive their own key to access the pool. The pool is only about 300 meters from the house and is quickly accessible both on foot and by car (for the transport of bathing accessories). Pool 2 is a larger complex with a bar and tennis court. Live concerts are included here in summer. Menu offered. Sun loungers are also available here. There is also a tennis court here that our guests can use freely.
The mountains surrounding our location offer countless hiking opportunities, which offer great tours for every taste and condition in every season. We are happy to advise you and give tips on the most beautiful tours.
Extensive shopping facilities (Las Marinas shopping center in Ondara) can be reached in a few minutes, and our village also offers a supermarket, pharmacy, post office and an excellent small restaurant.
Many small villages circle the orange Campo, which spreads generously in the valley and pampers us in May with its beguiling scent. There are also some typical Spanish restaurants there - small and fine!
With its marina, promenades, old town and countless bars and restaurants, Denia and Javea offer everything you would expect from a coastal town.
The absolute highlight of the region are the countless leisure opportunities.
