Looking for the perfect beach location - quiet, secluded and where you can enjoy nature and time with your family? Our Family Tides Cottage is just that - it is quiet, secluded, yet close to major attractions (shopping, restaurants, theaters, golf, etc).
The space
No hustle, no bustle, no traffic lights, no crowded beaches. In the mornings, relish the beautiful sunrises over the Delaware Bay, and in the evenings, the gorgeous sunsets over the Primehook wildlife refuge behind you. During the day, stroll back to Deep Hole Creek via our private walkway.
Relax on the beach, read that book you have been putting off, take a walk along the sandy shore, swim in the bay, comb for seashells and sea glass or enjoy a bonfire on the beach with family and friends.
Pamper yourself with high speed internet, cable TV and comfortable beds. We also provide guests with access to a beach cart, beach chairs, an umbrella and a beach blanket to save room in the car!
For the days you want more social interaction, it is only a fifteen to twenty minute drive to the following places: touring the Dogfish Head Brewery, shopping at the outlets in Rehoboth, taking in a movie at the Movies of Midway, walking the historic district of Lewes, Delawareโ€™s first settlement, or strolling the boardwalk at Rehoboth (the younger ones will definitely want to tour Funland).
We believe you will enjoy the relaxing atmosphere as much as we do. Furnishings were recently updated! Our home has one queen bed, a bunk bed set, and a sleeper sofa which will accommodate 6 guests. Bringing bed linens, towels, beach towels are the responsibility of renters.
The bathroom has a standing shower with an additional outdoor shower and there is plenty of parking on the lot.
We are glad to assist in making your stay a 5-star visit.
