Cortijo Los Ejeas has two floors, used for top-quality rural accommodation that used to belong to my grandparents, and dates back over a century with some restoration work in the last few years.
It is situated next to the Fuente del Comรบn, just 200 m from the village of Taberno, with around 1100 inhabitants. Taberno is located to the north of the province of Almerรญa, in the foothills of the Estancias Mountains, in the centre of the triangle which is made between Vรฉlez Rubio 33 km away, Huercal Overa 18 km and Albox 12 km away, and 50 km from the beaches of Vera or Mojacar, 750 m above sea level and with a Mediterranean climate.

Summary: Estuvimos este Agosto toda una fantรกstica semana en el cortijo. Disfrutamos de La Paz y tranquilidad del entorno, como buenos madrugadores q somos, mis niรฑos de 7 y 3 aรฑos, nos dรกbamos largos paseos de hora y pico por la montaรฑa, descubriendo madrigueras, saltamontes, cuevas y " piedras preciosas", siempre en compaรฑรญa de Lester ( el precioso perrito de Lucas y Paula, q nos acompaรฑaba en todas nuestras excursiones, para gozo y disfrute de mis niรฑos. Hablando de Lucas y Paula ( los propietarios), son encantadores, llevaron a los niรฑos a dar de comer a las gallinas y a recolectar frutas y verduras de su huerto, toda una experiencia....ademรกs de la dulzura y paciencia con que trataban a mis bichejos , q como niรฑos estaban todo el tiempo jugando con sus perritos. Luego la casa muy cรณmoda, las habitaciones grandes y muy completas, los baรฑos bastante grandes, muy bien acondicionados y completos. Y luego la piscina, una pasada, rodeada de plantitas y bastante grande para una familia, con una escalera integrada de acceso, muy prรกctica para niรฑos pequeรฑos, y para una madre de niรฑos pequeรฑos algo quizรกs imprescindible...es completamente VALLADA, asรญ no hay riesgo de caรญdas si los niรฑos juegan en patio. En fin, lo aconsejamos 100% .....decidiros y disfrutad. Ah! Si vais contactad con Cecilia y haced la visita de ganaderos por un dรญa, visita a granja de cabritas, con ordeรฑe y elaboraciรณn de quesos...una experiencia increรญble
