Location:
This magnificent farmhouse, situated on the Mahon to Fornells road, is set on a hill with breathtaking views over the open countryside. It is close to the beach of Arenal d’en Castell and 5km from the natural harbour of Addaia. It is also close to the unspoilt beaches, Favaritx, Cavalleria, and Pregonda, in the north of the island. The Mahón port and town are less than 10 minutes by car, and Fornells is 12km away. Vehicle is necessary.
Exterior:
The farmhouse was completely renovated maintaining the original characteristics of the house, it also incorporates the necessary comforts for modern day living. A 200m country lane leads to the house which is situated on top of a hill, with excellent views of the Menorcan countryside and pine forests. The enclosed swimming pool (9 x 4m with Roman steps) is surrounded by a grass area where children can play. There is also a stone barbeque and a shaded pergola furnished with a table and chairs for outdoor dining. Privacy and tranquility are guaranteed as there are no nearby neighbours.
Interior:
The interior of the house is set on the ground floor, although some areas are accessed via steps, and the original 19th century distribution of the house has been maintained. The main living room has a height of 5m, stone walls, direct outdoor access, and is tastefully decorated.

Summary: We had a very good time at Binimazoch, but we were disappointed by a couple of aspects. The house is beautiful, and the pool area is great, with nice surrounding grass area, bbq and porch. The furniture and overall status of the house is also good and we chose it because it’s in the country side with a lot of space for our dog to explore and run. The negatives: - no serving platters at all in the house (which is an inconvenience for a house planned for 8 persons9 - all the súrrounding terrain is extremely poorly maintained and you can not walk around except for the pool area. In the back of the house they even have broken furniture and other broken items waiting to be disposed? - They warn you about ants and mosquitos, which is okay for a country house, but there isn’t a single anti-insects or anti-ants spray in the house, so bring this with you in large quantities so that you can manage from day one. - little kitchen cleaning items available. A couple of courtesy single use puches with washing gel and that’s it. - poor internet connection with very limited wifi coverage. Again, beautiful house and we ended up having a very good time, but all the items listed above should be solved for a house with this rental price. I hope this feedback helps in improving this items for the future so that the house can offer its full potential.
