Stay at your home away from home in our floor-through apartment, the entire second floor of a 2-family house. The space includes one queen bedroom, a large kitchen with breakfast counter, den, reading room, entry room/dining area, large living room with queen sofa bed, and small balcony. With several windows in every room the house gets beautiful sunlight throughout the day. Only 3 blocks from Union College, and a short walk to downtown!
Our house is perfect for a couple or a small family. The space can be used as a one-bedroom with large living room, or two-bedroom by closing the pocket doors of the living room and opening the queen sofa bed. A plush mattress pad and extra linens can be found in the chaise storage of the sofa.
The sweet deck off the living room is a great place to read during the day or enjoy an outdoor meal. The house is a classic colonial from 1907 with original hardwood floors, exposed brick, high ceilings, and lots of built-in details. Original artwork and vintage furniture throughout. We used to live here ourselves and the whole house has been lovingly cared for and decorated. If you want a home away from home in a comfortable place with lots of character, you'll love it here.
