Located in the prestigious Melbourne suburb of Kew, also known as 'Kew Village.' Sweet Fig Tree on Myrtle, Kew is surrounded by leafy greenery on a beautiful quiet street.
Close to all transports (bus, tram, bus connecting to train station), cafes, restaurants and well known shopping strips.
Take a peaceful stroll to the beautiful parklands through Normanby road or visit the Historic Alexandra Gardens and Kew Shopping Centre. Cafes, restaurants, boutique shops and supermarkets are within 5 minutes drive on Glenferrie road, Burke road, Whitehorse road and High street. These are Melbourne's best shopping and dining strips.
This family friendly home features a large, fully equipped kitchen, large breakfast bench, large falcon oven and gas cook top with Miele, dishwasher, family size Fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and dishwasher. All cookware, and eating appliances are available for your use which allows for self catered meals. The large dining table comfortably fits 6.
The lounge room has a 55 inch smart TV with Netflix streaming service. Free wifi is also available. The property is well insulated and equipped with gas space heaters and reverse cycle units. Set with instantaneous gas hot water system, glamorous tigerwood flooring.
You can park your car on the driveway. Also free parking is available on the street.
*Please note that the garage and Laundry inside the garage with Washing machine and Dryer are for Owners' use only (not for guests). Longer term guests may use these facilities on request. These facilities will be used by the owners while there is no guest in the property.
If you feel like a quiet home in a reputable location with city views from upstairs and light filled rooms with high ceilings, this home is perfect for your family or group. The dining area comfortably fits 6 and overlooks the back veranda and the green foliage. Take a seat on the outdoor seating and enjoy a peaceful Sunday brunch.
There are two large bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate toilet upstairs. The two bedrooms upstairs, one with King bed and the other with Queen bed, are serviced centrally by the upstairs bathroom with separate toilet. There is a second bathroom downstairs. All bedrooms are fitted with bedside tables, lamps and built in robes with hangers and built in shelves.
*Please note that the downstairs bedroom will be locked and not for use by the guest.
The upstairs lounge room has an office desk and chair as well as comfortable arm chair with views of the city skyline.
Artworks abound, and furnishings have been carefully chosen for colour, comfort and practicality as well.
Guest access
You have private access with a lockbox code. Access will only be provided to rooms that are booked and paid for. If cleaners find that unpaid beds were used, an extra cleaning fee will be incurred.

3) Excessive noise is prohibited at all times and may result in termination of the Accommodation agreement, eviction, loss of rental paid and extra charges which may be deducted from the Security Deposit.
VISITORS
1) Guests are prohibited to have any visitors during their stay

FUNCTIONS
1) Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited at the accommodation.
2) Any small gathering must comply with other rules set regarding Noise, the Neighbourhood and Visitor numbers.
3) Alcohol Consumption should be limited at our accommodation.
4) Drugs are STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
SMOKING
1) Smoking is not permitted inside the house at any time.
2) Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly and not thrown on property grounds. Failure to
do so will result in a deduction from the security deposit.
DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES
1) All Damages and Breakages must be reported to the host as soon as reasonably practicable. Failure to report them will likely result in a penalty deduction from the security deposit.
2) To avoid Damages and Breakages, no furniture is to be moved from one room to another. This will incur extra cost to the cleaner to put the furniture back in place.
3) No bathroom towels or other contents are to be removed from the property.
ALL LIGHT SWITCHES, APPLIANCES INCLUDING AIRCONDITIONERS, GAS HEATERS, STOVE MUST BE TURNED OFF BEFORE CHECKING OUT AND EVERYTIME YOU GO OUT.
PLEASE LOCK FRONT DOOR, SIDE DOOR TO GRAGE AND BACK DOOR. CLOSE ALL WINDOWS.
AFTER LOCKING THE DOORS AND BEFORE LEAVING PLEASE PUT THE KEYS BACK IN THE KEY SAFETY BOX AND SCRAMBLE THE NUMBERS FOR SECURITY.
