Summary: We were attending a wedding on bank holiday Monday but decided to arrive the day before to ease the stress! We were shown to our room (junior suite) and on first impressions, the room looked quite stunning- however, on closer inspection the room was actually quite tired and in need of some redecoration/ repairs. The Spa was busy and as we hadn’t booked any treatments, we could only use the hot tub and sauna- which were as expected. However, finding a towel was difficult as I was told they are in a cupboard- after opening a few utility type cupboards I found it!!! No sign on the door etc and no where to put your used towels, I bumped into a member of staff and he said put it anywhere and suggested on top of a piece of wooden furniture to the right of me ?!. On a positive note, The restaurant was pleasant and the food was really good.
