No smoking.. The Butterchurn, once part of a dairy, it is now a cosy countryside hideaway. A calming open-plan space greets you as you step through the door, where soft lighting, natural textures and the glow of a wood burning stove create a sense of quiet comfort. The Butterchurn’s compact kitchen is fully equipped for easy self-catering, while the kingsize bed with Hypnos mattress, promises a deep and peaceful night’s sleep. The space is full of charm, lovingly renovated, with exposed beams and handmade touches.
The dual aspect french doors, enable you to enjoy the perfect breakfast outside in the morning sun, overlooking the gardens and apple trees. Then as evening approaches, settle by the firepit/BBQ as the sun sets through the trees, enjoying a soak in your wood-fired hot tub and watching the stars appear above you. Guests can also hire a private sauna session for 2 or 3 hour sessions where they will have sole access to relax and unwind, or explore the woodland paths and pond within the grounds, or an Ooni pizza oven to enjoy nights cooking out under the stars. Lovely Dutch style bicycles can also be hired to explore the local lanes, villages, pubs and restaurants.
