Summary: We stayed here to have a little family vacation not too far from home. The rooms were nice and clean, the kitchen had everything we needed along with a nice grill outside. We had a lot of fun. The house has a lot of cool decorations with the Gatsby theme. The host responded promptly to all our questions. There are plenty of good restaurants, nice parks, and Horicon Marsh is just a short drive away and we stayed plenty busy. We stayed during a heat wave so outside temps got to 90 and the house stayed comfortable inside. The only issue we had was that the outside patio faced the setting sun with a standard patio umbrella providing shade. With how hot it got after lunch it made using the patio tricky until the sun was pretty low. I am unsure how cool/cloudy it needs to get to enjoy the patio in the afternoon but it was uncharacteristically hot and sunny during our stay. This did not detract from our stay but we did not get to use the patio as much as we hoped we would. The patio is also the only place where a full party of 8 can fit comfortably. The dining table seats 6 and the living room with the game table can hold 5-6 before people would need to sit on the floor. We had 6 adults, a toddler, and a baby so we were fine but 8 adults would be a little cramped.
