Villa Astéri is a unique villa and is totally private, and a very special place, with the most amazing and dramatic views all the way around and down to the sea and the Akamas Peninsular and Blue Lagoon - it will truly take your breath away!
Just a 25 min drive from Paphos, it feels like a different world!
Astéri is a 4/5 bedroom villa which can sleep up to 10 people. (1 en suite bedroom is normally closed off if 8 persons or less)
Although a large villa it is suitable for smaller parties too, and even a couple will find it a wonderful escape with a magical feel all of its own.
Perched above the delightful village of Steni, Astéri enjoys complete privacy and is not overlooked in any way - however it is not isolated at all - being just a minute hop down to the village and the lovely local cafe's there, and then just a few minutes drive to Polis Old Town and Latchi Marina with its contemporary bars and restaurants overlooking the yachts, and miles of great beaches.
Paphos is just a 25 minute drive away, and the airport about 35 mins. Larrnaca airport is a one and a half hour drive.
The property is ranch-style, all on one level, with two bedrooms/bathrooms in one wing, and two/three bedrooms/bathrooms in an opposite wing, with the living areas in the middle. This allows a good degree of privacy for families or if sharing.
Please note - the 5th bedroom and bathroom can be opened up on request for larger parties - ie over eight persons. (extra fee applies, which is calculated when you put in the number of your party when you send an enquiry) Otherwise the property remains as four bedrooms/four bathrooms.
Throw open the patio doors on your first morning, and you will find the intoxicating aroma of jasmine & the truly amazing all around views over the mountains, villages and citrus groves down to the sea quite overwhelming. In the evenings the sunsets over the sea and Akamas Peninsular will truly amaze you - and after dark there is some star show!
Astéri offers luxurious and hugely spacious outdoor living with a wonderful shaded lounge area with sofas seating up to 15 people, a 60" flat screen with NETFLIX, a 10 x 5 meter pool (heated if required additional charge), and a large dining area within a huge wooden pergola, alongside which is a large stone BBQ kitchen.
There is a wonderful outside cocktail bar with fridge and music system - here you can perch on a stool, cocktail in hand, and watch the sun set dramatically over the hills and Akamas Peninsula - just magical!
Inside the villa is cool and luxurious with good quality furnishings and works of art, much more of a home than a holiday house.
There is a 50" tv in the lounge with access to all live UK tv channels plus all Sky channels inc movies and sports channels - all in HD. There is also a huge on-line movie library including many new release films only just hitting the cinemas. (you won't get this in the UK!)
We have good speed unlimited wifi throughout the villa (and works outside too inc the bar).
There is a good 4g mobile phone signal.
There is central heating (extra cost, winter only) and a real fire for the cooler evenings, plus pool heating if required (extra cost).
Astéri really is unique, and one of a kind, with a position and views that are hard, if not impossible, to beat. It is not your average holiday rental at all. It will be our permanent home one day, but in the meantime we are happy to share it with careful guests.
We can organize hire cars for you, which includes a driver to take you (including all luggage) to the villa on arrival which makes for a much more relaxing way to arrive, especially if at night - all this is included in the normal hire cost - a service unique to us as we use our local car hire firm a lot. Your hire car/cars would be waiting for you at the villa. Smashing!
There is no set arrival/departure day, so we are quite flexible. Minimum stay is seven days, and any number of nights over this. Please note this property does not accept younger all same sex groups.
