Summary: We chose this property for our stay in Mallorca because of the view and it did not disappoint! We loved the view of the sea and also the view of the mountains. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset from the patio one evening when we were home! One morning we enjoyed a beautiful rainbow after it rained out at sea! The house itself is beautiful and was super clean. Beds were very comfortable as well. There was plenty of room to spread out and hang out and relax but we spent most of our time on the patio outside. The location is outside the town of Deia but walkable- there are some steep hills returning to the house from Deia and we were delighted to find there were taxis in the town to bring us home after dinner - so we got the best of both - lovely walks into town (downhill) then taxi back! We initially arrived very late at night and Rosa our host was very accommodating - she sent great directions regarding getting to the house and also getting IN to the house- she left all the outside lights on and the front gate open which was really nice. The only problem we experienced was not related to this property directly - but there was a neighbor a few homes away that was burning their yard waste and the smoke was blowing our way which impacted us being outside. From what we understand , it is only permitted certain times of the year. If we had known this we might have changed our dates. It wasn’t all the time but a few times we had to come in because of the smell.
